We have our own composting setups in our Jurong West Garden. We design simple, climate-friendly systems suited to Singapore's conditions:

Netting bins: Great airflow, ideal for larger volumes of leaves and waste
Air-root pots / fabric pots / mesh : Compact, flexible and well-ventilated. Fabric pots are perfect for small spaces and balconies
Repurposed pet cages: Open, sturdy design that speeds up natural breakdown
Ready-made bins or flower pots: Neat, convenient options for home use

Whichever setup you choose, the method is the same - no turning and no chopping. We layer organic matter with natural enzymes to quicken the process. Over time, beneficial microbes and earthworms will arrive on their own, working quietly to turn waste into dark, crumbly compost.
