A compact corn about 1m tall at full full size, grown for its colour. The ears are small and chubby (5-8cm in length - 1 plant per pot, 1 cob per plant), turning deep ruby red as they ripen.
Your pot already has a cob on it, hand-pollinated by me. Over the next few weeks you'll watch the kernels turn from pale to red. Limited Quantity. Reserve one!
Care & Growing Tips:
Light: Thrives in full, direct sunlight (at least 6 hours daily).
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but well-drained.
Feeding: None needed. It's potted in permaculture-based soil. This soil has everything to feed the plant until the cob is ready
Harvest: When the husk turns papery and your thumbnail leaves no dent in a kernel.
After harvest: Hang the ear somewhere airy with a fan for about a month. It will grow mould if it is not dried.
